Another announcement.

Back back back.
Back in sunny Singapore!
I know I did tell some people that I'd be returning on the 14th. So I'm sorry if I'd ruined your surprise. But at least here's something better. My surprise to you guys! :)
To everyone who thought I was crazy to do what I'm going to elaborate now (and that includes myself), now you'd know it pays to be crazy sometimes :) And to everyone else, the story goes as such: I had this sudden burst of spontaneity one night and decided to do something really random. I headed down to the airport to camp for a last minute seat on board one of the 3 planes (10.10am, 3.50pm, 12.10 midnight) that fly from Melbourne to Singapore, just in case someone pulls out. Was all prepared to while the time in between away watching serials and all, but I actually got on the 1st flight available (which meant my wait lasted a GRAND TOTAL of 10 mins)!!! :) I must really thank my lucky stars. That kind of wait wouldn't even occur on a normal check-in, unless one checks in really late.
So yes, this means I bought over an extra 3 days in this little red dot. Oh wait, technically not so. I'd be heading to Johor for church camp these 2 days. Eventually, I'd still be back on the 14th, so maybe a good welcome would be at the Causeway ;p

24//Switchfoot.

Twenty-four oceans
Twenty-four skies
Twenty-four failures
And twenty-four tries
Twenty-four finds me
In twenty-fourth place
With twenty-four drop outs
At the end of the day
Life is not what I thought it was
Twenty-four hours ago
Still I'm singing 'Spirit, take me up in arms with You'
And I'm not who I thought I was
Twenty-four hours ago
Still I'm singing 'Spirit, take me up in arms with You'
There's twenty-four reasons
To admit that I'm wrong
With all my excuses
Still twenty-four strong
See, I'm not copping out
Not copping out
Not copping out
When you're raising the dead in me
Oh, oh
I am the second man
Oh, oh
I am the second man now
Oh, I am the second man now
And you're raising these...
Twenty-four voices
With twenty-four hearts
All of my symphonies
In twenty-four parts
But I want to be one today
Centered and true
I'm singing 'Spirit take me up in arms with You'
You're raising the dead in me
Oh, oh
I am the second man
Oh, oh
I am the second man now
Oh I am the second man now
And you're raising the dead in me
Yeah I wanna see miracles
To see the world change
Wrestled the angel for more than a name
For more than a feeling
For more than a cause
I'm singing 'Spirit, take me up in arms with You'
And you're raising the dead in me
Twenty-four oceans
With twenty-four hearts
All of my symphonies
With twenty-four parts
Life is not what I thought it was
Twenty-four hours ago
Still I'm singing 'Spirit, take me up in arms with You'
I'm not copping out
Not copping out

Your hand in mine..

..was comforting, to say the least. It was warm, a stark contrast when put against my cold extremities. It was snug. It was loving and tender. It was everything a hear.. I mean, hand.. should be. I felt the heat emanating from it, and very soon I was thawed.
'I didn't get to know you very much this semester. All I can say is, I want to get to know you better the next.' Simple and direct. Just the way she always does it. I've an affinity for that. And I must say, I do believe there's much to learn from this sister. I believe we have much to learn from each other, in fact.
