A superb twist to the Mac adverts!!
Psalm 23 as a child knows it.
Quote of the day direct from the mouth of Rachel Goh. "Xin Yi your top (bright yellow) makes your hair look browner today! Like really, it's exuding in colour! (okay, I think the 2nd part of the sentence is a paraphrase)" I had just dyed my hair but apparently bright yellow tops not only have a cheery effect; they also reflect their colour on whoever dons them and makes their hair look more brown. Lol that gal is really cute.
Saw Claudia for the 1st time in a long time today. Really happy to finally get to see this sister after her having such a tough time with her pregnancy. Didn't get to spend much quality time with her though. Hopefully I will again before I leave. Got to feel lil baby Ezekiel kicking in her
lil huge tummy though :) Really amazing. Ezekiel even kicked my ear when I lowered my head to hear his heartbeat. Naughty fella!!
Decided to have dinner with my family after church, which my Dad appreciated much. Went to Chomp Chomp for to savour the delicacies for the 1st time, and realised that hawker fare can actually add up to quite alot of money! No wonder hawkers can drive BMWs these days. Bro and I went on a ordering spree, because my Dad allocated us to order food for the whole family. Wonderful :) I got to eat everything I wanted to last me the year in Australia. And my bro actually said that he got so bloated he almost got a sugar high. Is that even possible? ;p
Okay Tjow's actually finally made a point. I realised I really don't blog about events at all once I come back to Singapore. And this time there ARE really significant events which I have left out. Like youth camp, Thailand with the family, Christmas gatherings, my baptism, New Year's Eve, Hong Kong with my friends.. oh my goodness I wouldn't even be able to recount every precious detail if I were to do so now. And those ARE treasured memories for which I engage the written word in order that they may linger but for a second longer. So hmmm I shall start making time to blog! Hopefully I can catch up on what I've left out. If not, there's always the quick-fix of "aptly put-together phrases" method which works for me (though it does leave you readers quite clueless I suppose).
Okay I've spent enough time on cyberspace! It's back to the real world for now. And I'm looking forward to night cycling and Changi Village nasi lemak!! :)
